King Cake Syrup 

 Add extra flavor by adding our syrup to your King Cake,

ice cream, cheesecake, pancakes, New Orleans style bread pudding! King Cake Syrup is also great for making unique cocktails! Let your imagination guide you!

King Cake Syrup Recipes                         

Original King Cake Soda

1 part “Old Tyme New Orleans King Cake Syrup”

5 parts seltzer water

Add crushed ice and stir

King Cake  Milkshake

16 oz whole milk

2 scoops vanilla ice cream

1-2 ounces King Cake Syrup

Top with whipped cream, cinnamon, and a cherry!

Mardi Gras King Cake Ice Cream Soda

Vanilla ice cream, seltzer, whipped cream, King Cake Syrup, cherry

Pour about an inch of Olde Tyme New Orleans King Cake Syrup and 1 inch seltzer water into a malt glass.

Gently add a medium scoop of vanilla ice cream and more seltzer until you reach two inches from the top of the rim. Carefully stir contents and watch it fizz! Add whipped cream, more syrup, and sprinkle with cinnamon,and garnish with two cinnamon sticks!

Carnival Gooey Bars

1 box yellow cake mix

4 eggs

2 sticks butter

1- 8 oz cream cheese

1- box Confectioner’s Sugar
1 tablespoon of cinnamon
2 tablespoons Olde Tyme New Orleans King Cake Syrup
1 tablespoon Olde Tyme New Orleans Double Strength French Vanilla


Empty 1 box yellow cake box into bowl. Add 2 eggs and hand mix. Add 1 stick of melted butter, cinnamon & Olde Tyme New Orleans French Vanilla and mix together.  Pour batter into 9 x 13 glass pan. Spread evenly. In another bowl mix softened cream cheese, 2 eggs, softened stick of butter, box of powdered sugar, and beat on low for 1 minute. Then add 2 tablespoons of Olde Tyme New Orleans Mardi Gras Syrup and mix. Pour over batter in pan and spread evenly. Bake for 30 minutes at 350-375 or until slightly brown. After cooling, cut into small rectangular pieces and drizzle icing and sprinkled colored sugar. Refrigerate and enjoy.

Mardi Gras Party Punch  (a delicious party refresher)

In a punch bowl add one 10 oz bottle of King Cake Syrup to a chilled 2 liter bottle of 7up or Sprite.  

Float one block of frozen sherbet into the punch bowl and let it float for a few minutes. Stir and serve in punch cups!

 

Adult Drinks

 

"Baccocino Cafe" (A new twist to cappuccino!)          

2 parts espresso

1 part King Cake Syrup

2 parts frothed 2% milk

Top the above with whipped cream, a teaspoon of King Cake

Syrup, and a touch of cinnamon!

 

“Hard Carnival Cream Soda”  

Pour over ice: 1 ½ oz of the King Cake Syrup and 1 ½ oz Amaretto into a tall glass

Then add 1 ½ oz milk and 1 ½ oz seltzer chilled seltzer water

Top with whipped cream and a cherry!

 

"Carnival Driver" 

1 1/2 oz King Cake Syrup, vodka, Dark Rum, pineapple juice, and crushed ice.

Add the rum, juice, and ice into a tall glass. Gently pour the King Cake Syrup so it sits at bottom of the glass. Add the crushed ice and enjoy!
